Jamaica's postal service is the responsibility of the Post and Telecommunications Department, a division within the Information and Telecommunications Office, under the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Post Office is headquartered at the Central Sorting Office on South Camp Road in Kingston and constitutes a network of Post Offices and Postal Agencies across the country. The Postmaster General of Jamaica, who is assisted by two Deputies and a senior management team, leads the Department. Operational control is achieved through a team of 11 Regional Managers.

Post Offices offer a full range of postal services including the acceptance and delivery of mail and the sale of postage stamps. Our opening hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Postal Agencies however, operate on a part-time basis, offering a restricted range of postal services.
