Definition

The Post Office offers a quick and convenient Faxmail service to anyone who needs to send or receive an urgent letter or document.

Description of Service

Faxmail offers instant faxing facilities at more than 20 participating post offices nationwide.

A fax can be sent from:

A participating post office to a private fax machine
A participating post office to another participating post office with different delivery options. This option is available in the domestic service only and the post office cover page must be used (at no extra cost).
The recipient collects the fax from the post office. (The sender must inform the recipient of the fax.)

A private fax machine to a participating post office. Faxes can only be collected at the post office. A charge per page is payable by the addressee. (The sender must inform the recipient of the fax.)

Guidelines

Documents may not be bigger than letter size (8 ½" x 11").
For best readability, your document should be in black ink on a white background.
Pages must not be bound or stapled together.
Remember to number each page.
The contents of Faxmail messages may not be offensive or indecent.
