Advertising Mail Service

The Advertising Mail Service allows the distribution of un-addressed flyers or brochures within areas that are serviced by a Postman. These flyers must be a one page item (this includes flyers that have information on both sides of the page). Flyers can be folded in brochure form to allow an easy method of delivery. Clients may take in a minimum of 500 brochures which are distributed at $2.00 each. Should the client take in over 10,001 brochures, they will be given a $0.50 discount, which means that flyers of quantity over 10,001 will cost $1.50 for each piece distributed. Clients are also asked to pre-pack their flyers in packets of 1000, this allows for easier distribution.

Here’s how the Advertising Mail service works:

• You send 500 or more un-addressed brochures, leaflets or coupons along with cash or a Manager’s Cheque to the Postal Corporation of Jamaica. You will be directed to the Sales & Marketing Officer.
• Tell us the area(s) that you want to be targeted, for example, Kingston 6, Portmore, Montego Bay. Private Letter Boxes are also stuffed at no additional cost. Please note, where there is no delivery system in place, flyers will be distributed over the Post Office counter when customers come to collect their mail.
• Collect your receipt
• The items will be dispatch the next working day.

Please note that during the distribution process, the Postman will distribute flyers along with the mail that he has to deliver for the day, this means that he will not target every single household while doing his delivery. To guarantee some measure of security, our Inspector of Postmen does random checks to ensure that items are delivered.
