Post office Smart Card deals

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION commuters can reap rich rewards with Smart Card purchases at select post offices.

In a special promotion starting today and running until September 30, Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) Smart Card customers can get 10 per cent extra on purchases between $500 and
$2,500.

The Postal Corporation of Jamaica recently began to sell the JUTC Smart Card. It is a ‘swipe card’ similar in operation to an automated banking machine card, otherwise called a debit card.

It uses an electronic system to place cash value on the card the first time it is activated and more value may be added to recharge it.
